Lemmy of Motörhead dies – mourned by swedish art collector


Lemmy Kilmister, the singer and bass player of heavy metal band Motörhead, has passed away. He is mourned by fans all over the world, so also in Sävsjö, Sweden.

Lemmy died shortly after learning he suffered from an aggressive form om cancer. He was 70 years old.
”I am shocked and very sad to hear the news”, says entrepeneur and art collector Roy Gustafsson in Sävsjö, Sweden.
Roy Gustafsson knew Lemmy through Mickey Dee, the drummer in Motörhead.
”Lemmy was a very nice person. He was enormously interested in history, especially the first and second world war. That and rock’n’roll was his life. He might as well have been a history teacher”, says Roy Gustafsson and mentions that he didn’t know Lemmy for the music, instead he and Lemmy used to discuss antiques when they ocasionally met.
”He was a fanatic collector. He was very interested in coats of Arms”, says Roy Gustafsson.
